Thanks for the message. It is nice to know someone understands (but sorry to hear someone has to because that means you've been through some things too).

Some days I wish I had a fairy godmother with a magic wand. I think back on my life and wonder could I have made one choice differently that would have made a difference but I guess life happens as intended and who am I to think I know best. Take care and have a nice evening. 

good to hear  that u got it going just keep it up..i would ask the bank for a personal loan  with low intrest..if not maybe youd have to sell  which would suck..but it would help ya out..id still put your name on the list  they said the same to me i waited6 months  they have openings that come up and if you do end up homeless you would be put at the top sorry about your grandma..feel ya there..alot of stress on ya..well id make sure i would take some time for myself out of the day if i were u  take care best of luck for ya and your family

Thanks for the advise. I don't have family that can help and his has as much as they can. I am actually taking care of my Grams. Her Doctor  has said we need to get her into a home because she needs more care than we can do- nursing and things. So we are looking into that too. I applied for everything- medicaid, foodstamps and financial. It's a hassle, but I hope it goes somewhere. At this time my fiance will be coming home after bootcamp because he enlisted on a program that keeps him from being deployed while he is in school- so he is going to college. I am very proud of him for all of this. We got the utilities under control with some help from area agencies and I am looking into disability now. The housing agencies have 2 year waiting lists - we will be homeless if I wait for that. My house payment is exhorbitant at $2000 a month so... we are still looking for help to get caught up on that. It would be great if I could get a loan for it. After this month the money situation promises to be better, just got to get over the hurdle in the meantime. Thanks again for all of your suggestions. I know what it's like to come out the otherside of addiction.  

family..do you have his and your family near..if so ask for help..and if he goes into the military after boot camp you and your family can be stationed with him..only if you are married so hang in there..till then  like i have said to alot of people go to your local agencies for help  keep on em ask for help in the things you need call you utilty companies and ask for a payment plan and as for disability it could take a long time but keep on em  use emergency assistance  agencies it is sometimes a one time use if you havent used it before try it ..there is no harm in asking the state u live in for help  it does not make u look like a bad person..or a worthless one cuz you are trying  if you need to move look into low income housing or ones that will help pay rent for you .. there are alot of resorces out there and as for being apart from your love..it will make things stronger for you both ..i was apart from mine once and i kept a journal for him talking to him everyday  on top of letters but it will help cuz sometimes its just good to get things out of ouyr mind and write em down..also keep a progress journal for your money and bills ..once you notice changes and see that you have made changes your spirits will be higher..

Thank you for responding to me. It's nice to hear from someone who understands; it doesn't seem that anyone around me does. It's a very depressing situation. I appreciate the information and I will be looking into that group today. As opressive as this has been I do feel hopeful that my health will improve steadily, even if not quickly. I have a great guy. It 's amazing what he has been willing to do for me. I thank the universe for him every day.

I'm sorry you aren't well, I know how that feels and what it does to your life. I am in the appeal process for disability and started last September. I wish I could help you financially but I think maybe I can at least share a great resource with you. If you google MSN has a group called The Social Security Disability Coalition and it has a lot of great information and resources that may be able to help you. There are organizational links too for resources to help with some of th things you mentioned. I hope your health improves soon but I have to say what a loving man you have standing by your side.
